Christopher Lloyd is an American actor best known for his eccentric and memorable roles in film and television. He gained fame as Reverend Jim Ignatowski in the sitcom Taxi (1978–1983), a role that earned him two Emmy Awards. His most iconic performance is as the quirky inventor Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985–1990). Lloyd has appeared in a wide range of roles, from the villainous Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) to Uncle Fester in The Addams Family films (1991, 1993).
